It all started with a pair of spurs. Eliz started smithing in 2016 when she wanted a set of custom spurs, but couldn't afford to pay someone else to make them for her. She had access to the materials and supplies she needed to make them herself, so she did (she has never used said spurs).

Eliz is the Practice Manager of a veterinary practice in Amarillo, TX. She is a self-proclaimed aficionado of horses, cattle, silver, and turquoise. Her dog, Pancho Villa, can be found under her desk at the vet practice or under her bench. Gunshy, photographed left, is her 2009 model AQHA stud, who she thinks hung the moon.
